After 11 years as a successful marketing associate, Dan chose to follow God’s calling and enter into full-time ministry as founder/director of Dan Moran Ministries, Inc. The diversity of this ministry is truly amazing.

In the last 24 years, Dan has address over 900,000 students and faculty with his “Choices” message in middle and high school assemblies. He has served as Associate Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes of North Alabama.

Dan is the past President of the Conference of Southern Baptist Evangelist of Alabama.

He is passionate about leading people of this generation to meet Christ where they are. Dan’s speaking schedule each year consists of church renewal/revivals, retreats, camps and conferences across America.

He is the writer/creator of “Life Conferences.” The conference topics are Parent/Teen relationships as well as Worship: What’s the big Deal? and his newest; The Secrets to Abundant Living. Life events are real, relevant and very relational.

Dan is the corporate chaplain and leads monthly bible studies in ten local corporations in Alabama as part of his “marketplace” missions project. As Dan puts it, “I left the corporate world follow God in ministry and now I am back in the marketplace doing ministry!”
Each year he finds time in his travel schedule to lead mission crusades abroad to Central America and other parts of the globe.

Dan has been married to Debbie Moran for over twenty-six years. They have one son, Seth. Debbie and Seth travel with him from time to time. They are members and are actively involved at The Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, Alabama.
